BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Duo 2016 and 2013
Not just one, but two nights at Calstock Arts with Kathryn and Sean, one of the UK Folk scene’s most rewardingly enduring partnerships and big favourites with our Calstock Arts audience.
Twice winners of the Best Duo prize at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award, the couple’s intimacy and strength of passion on stage have won them many fans and an enviable reputation as ‘songwriters par excellence’ (fRoots), whose original songs cover such subjects as wicked mermaids, Norwegian legends and a lonely whale.
Doors & Licensed Bar from 7.00pm. Show starts at 8.00pm
Show finishes approx.10.15pm
There’s plenty of time to walk to Calstock Rail Station after the concert to catch your train back to Plymouth. The Chapel is only a few minutes walk from Calstock Station.
