Liskeard Ploughman’s Festival will be held on Saturday 13th August.
Featuring an exciting and vibrant Farmers Market on the Parade between 10am-2pm and Live Music, Beer and Food at Westbourne Gardens between 12-7pm.
Come along to one of our sessions and learn fun new circus skills whilst improving fitness flexibility, strength, and confidence.
Liskeard School, Tuesdays 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th August at 2pm. Suitable for all ages but Under 7s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, £5.
Caradon Youth Choir are hosting two workshops this Summer Holiday on Thursday 4th and 18th August between 2-4.30pm at Liskeard Public Hall. Children aged 7-19 years welcome.

A Charity Fundraiser will be held at Liskeard Public Hall on 13th August between 9am – 1 pm. Family Friendly Entertainment and terrific parties. Meet Elsa and Olaf, get a glitter tattoo and pick up a goodie bag. Elsa’s games and prizes begin at 10.30 and are £1
Liskeard Traders Association Scarecrow Competition will be held on Saturday 13th August on the Parade and in Fore Street celebrating Liskeard Ploughman’s Festival. Dress up as a scarecrow or build a scarecrow and join the parade.

There are some fantastic family shows on at Sterts this summer including Ratburger, The Smartest Giant in Town, The Wizard of Oz and Bitey & Bertie’s Grand Tour.
Liskeard & District Museum has a fantastic vintage toy exhibition – great for all the family and perfect for a damp day. They are open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm and on Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. Admission is FREE
Looking for something to wear the kids out on a wet day? Lux Park holds soft play sessions every Wednesday and Saturday for under 5s. 10.45am-12pm. £2.90 per child (under 6 months free)
This summer, the Eden Project is set for its biggest prehistoric invasion yet as we’re taken over by incredible creatures from land, sea and air. Get ready to uncover fascinating facts about land-roaming giants, monsters from the deep and ancient creatures of the skies. Buy your tickets in advance from Liskeard Information Centre for 15% off the normal admission price.
Cotehele have family fun events all summer as part of the normal admission price. Come along between 12.30-3pm and make paper on Mondays, wild art on Tuesdays and Thursdays, catch-cup games on Wednesdays and swords and shields on Fridays.
