EARTH’S TREASURES – FREE willow workshops to celebrate our mining heritage
Come and help make giant willow and tissue paper models of minerals found in local mines. They will be displayed in shop windows in Liskeard as part of the Man Engine day on 26 July.
Both workshops will be in the Hall at the Liskerrett Community Centre
Saturday 16 July 9am – noon. Local artist Sue Field will help us make the willow framework for rock shapes.
Saturday 23 July 10am – 1pm. Local artist Carol Whibley will help us decorate the rock shapes, adding a tissue paper skin, colour, texture and sparkle.
Enjoy free workshops and help decorate our town to welcome the Man Engine!
