Lantern Making for Liskeard Lights Up - Liskerrett

Tripping The Light Fantastic… This year the theme for Liskeard Lights Up, which is to be held on Saturday 28th November, will be dance. Whether your favourite dance is Ballroom, Ballet or Belly Dancing, there are loads of ideas that can be transformed into large lanterns.

Large Lantern Making Workshops – Each Friday starting 9th October 9.30am-12.30 at Liskerrett Community Centre.

The sessions will be led by local artist Carol Whibley and will include help to make large lanterns including designing the structures and lighting them. Suitable for complete beginners or more experienced lantern makers. You can build your lantern on your own or as part of a small team. Materials are provided, as well as tea and coffee; just wear old clothes and bring an apron. Most of all have some creative fun.
