Liskeard OCS are preparing their Platinum Jubilee Exhibition “In Celebration of a 70 Year Reign” which will be on display from May 30th to June 10th in Stuart House, Barras Street, Liskeard. Queen Elizabeth II’s distant ancestor King Charles I stayed here for several nights preparing for the Battle of Lostwithiel in 1644. Stuart House is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am-3.30pm and Saturday 9.39am-12.30pm (please note it will be closed on the Bank Holidays 2nd-3rd June)
