Woolly Workshops – Twists, Turns and Reverse Cables
October 16, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
| £24Event Navigation
We’re running a packed programme of woolly workshops aimed at experienced crafters, complete beginners and those in between. We really hope you’ll be able to come and enjoy them.
Twists, turns and reverse cables – Tutor: Bekki Hill
This workshop will explore creating gorgeous cables, with and without a cable needle, and reverse cabling that produces beautiful results on both sides of your work – so ideal for scarves, cowls and blankets. We will consider ways to get the best results with your cables, as well as the common pitfalls, how to avoid them and rectifying mistakes without frogging. If you have a cable knitting pattern that you would like to knit, but feel daunted by, or a pattern of an ordinary cable stitch that you would like to convert to a reverse pattern, you are welcome to bring it along.
Materials: yarn provided but bring 4mm straight needles and a similar sized cable needle if you can. Suitable for: knitters
Olive & Co Cafe, Sunday 16th October, 10am – 3pm. £24
