Time: 10am or early birds from 8am – watch us open the mammal traps!

Description: Join us as we undertake a 3 hour BioBlitz – a race against the clock to record as many species as possible! It is also an excellent opportunity for you to learn new identification skills. You can either explore the site by yourself or join us on guided walks as we try to find as many plants, animals and fungi as we can.

What Can Be Found at St Martins? That’s what we’re here to find out… We are expecting to find bees, butterflies and other insects using the recently planted wildflowers. There should also be plenty of songbirds in the trees overhead, and possibly signs of hedgehogs.

Who is it For? You! All ages and abilities are welcome. We need keen eyes to seek out new species. We will have experts on hand to help identify what you have found.
