Christmas Garland & Decorated Hall of the House – Cotehele

The Garland is complete, the log fire is burning – come and join us in the Hall of the House to admire this year’s creation and enjoy music by a variety of local choirs and groups performing under it.  A full list of choirs, dates and times are below.

  • Winter admission: £6 (members, under 18s free) from 2 November-31 December (closed 25-26 December). From 27-31 December entry is free to all our neighbours with a PL postal code. Bring a utility bill
  • The best time to admire the garland is in the morning when the sun streams in the south windows. On days when there are choirs/musicians, drop-in performances run from approximately 2-2.30 and 3-3.30. Space in the Hall is limited; arrive early to avoid disappointment.
  • Please note: watching the choirs is a standing activity. A few chairs are available if needed, during very busy periods we may not be able to accommodate all visitors. The hall is wheelchair accessible, visitors are requested to clear the hall between performances.
