Liskeard & District Museum have a jam packed summer ahead of us this July and August with workshops from local artist Nicky Haywood, a visit from archaeologist Laura plus some fun filled workshops with our learning volunteer based on our learning boxes which are being prepped so that schools can once again use them.
The majority of our workshops are free however if you feel you can make a donation then this does go towards bringing you even more activities

Drop-In Gelli Plate Image Transfer Workshop – Play with Print!
Come and discover the magic of image transfer using Gelli plates in this fun and informal drop-in workshop with artisy Nicky Harwood. Explore how to lift printed images from magazines and photocopies, layering textures and colours to create unique, expressive prints.
No experience needed – just turn up, have a go, and see what happens! We’ll provide all the materials, guidance, and inspiration you need to experiment and make something unexpected. Great for beginners, artists, and anyone looking to try something new.
All ages welcome. Leave with your own one-of-a-kind print.
