A guided walk led by John Manley, local author and Chairman of the local branch of the Trevithick Society. Great Phoenix Mine was owned by William West the subject of John’s latest book ‘William West – The Last Great Cornish Engineer’.

The walk will be around 2.5 miles in total with the option to go to the valley bottom to see the wheel pit and slime works. Meet at 11am in the Minions Heritage Centre car park (near Houseman’s Engine House).
