For one day only six of the town’s best known and iconic buildings will open their doors for residents and visitors to look around. You’ll be able to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the town Council Chamber and see where the legendary secret tunnel under Fore Street started and finished.

There will also be a heritage shopping trail – many of the shops in town will have old photos and stories of their past residents.
