An event every month that begins at 1:30 pm on day First of the month, repeating until 3 February, 2015
Held in The Quimperle Room, Liskeard Public Hall. 
- The Health Check is completely free
- Each test takes 20- 30 min
- Offers on the spot testing for Blood Pressure, Cholesterol and Diabetes
The NHS Health Check programme is a national scheme aimed at preventing heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease and certain types of dementia. Everyone between the ages of 40 and 74, who has not already been diagnosed with one of these conditions or has certain risk factors is eligible to have a health check once every 5 years. The health check consists of a risk assessment for the likelihood of developing cardio vascular disease and individuals will be given support and advice to help them reduce or manage that risk.
