About the site
Thought to date from the early 16th century, St Cleer Holy Well has been a site of pilgrimage across the centuries. It is unique in its open-sided architectural form and the mouldings on the building’s capitals are also unusual. The site came into the care of Cornwall Heritage Trust in November 2022 and was removed from the Heritage at Risk Register in November 2023.
This event is in aid of Cornwall Heritage Trust – the small, independent charity protecting Cornwall’s heritage for everyone.
