About the Event
Violence against women is a violation of human rights. 1 in 3 women across the world will experience violence in their lifetime. That’s more than 1 billion women and girls facing physical or sexual abuse. Violence doesn’t discriminate, it affects women of all ages, abilities, classes and backgrounds. This unapologetic production fearlessly honours raw and honest stories of sisterhood, challenging societal norms and amplifying women’s voices. Both poignant and hilarious, “The Vaginas” invite you to witness these powerful words, spark change, and embrace this courageous expression of womanhood.
Raising funds for West Cornwall Women’s Aid and the Women’s Centre Cornwall, “The Vagina Monologues” will arouse, liberate, educate and demonstrate the power of female art as a fearless tool for social justice. Don’t miss your chance to be moved, enlightened and inspired by this iconic masterpiece of theatre.
Brought to you by Agnieszka Blonska, Tori Canell, Jennifer Fletcher, Sue Penna, Kylie Sullivan and a brilliant cast of women.
