Join Liskeard & District Museum on Thursday 8th May for their special VE Day celebration.
10am hear the town crier Chris Smirthwaite read the official proclamation (which was originally read on the balcony of Webb’s Hotel), followed by our lovely Mayor, Christina Whitty sounding the museum siren.

Explore our World War II exhibition and discover how residents in our town and the surrounding district lived during the war years.

Plus come along dressed in your finest 1940s style clothing, have your photo taken (which we will email to you) and receive a special museum commemorative certificate.
This is a FREE event.
