An exhibition of everyday life in the 1950's and 60's and a look at the shops in Liskeard during that time. The museum is open 10am-4pm Monday to Friday (closed 12.30-1pm for lunch) and 10am-1pm Saturday. Free entry

Penmilder Garden, in Lodge Hill Liskeard, is opening in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care on Saturday 22nd May, 11am-3pm. Admission £5 2.5 acres of lawns, mature borders and less formal wooded areas. Bluebells and primroses make it particularly pretty in spring. Apple orchard and a pond that supports a variety of wildlife.
