We Are of This Place – Free Guided Walk – Liskeard Station to Looe
This free guided walk will take place on Tuesday 1st April as part of the ‘We Are of This Place festival – a month-long celebration of the Looe Valleys’ people, history, and landscape covering all parishes between Liskeard and Looe. Mark will be waiting to greet you at Liskeard station’s main entrance at 9:45am (if arriving from Plymouth – see below for train times). On Sunday April 27th there will be a short level stroll along Station Road, Liskeard, stopping regularly to hear about the first occupants of the Victorian terraces that sprang up when the GWR main line station opened in 1859.
