Callington Honey Fair

A traditional street fair run by the Lions Club of Callington and filled with a variety of stalls. The fair has become one of the largest fairs in Cornwall with hundreds of people visiting the town to enjoy the friendly community based event.
The whole town joins into the spirit of the event, local shop windows are themed with attractive displays, hundreds of school children enter the art competition and bee keepers compete for honey awards.
Inside the town hall the bee keepers put up fascinating displays and cream teas are served providing a little bit of sanctuary away from the bustling street and large fun fair outside.
