Clean for the Queen at Castle Park

Clean for the Queen is a nationwide event taking place across the UK in celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday. It calls on individuals, volunteer groups, local councils, businesses and schools and asks them to do their bit. You can take part in Liskeard’s own Clean for The Queen weekend on March 6th at 10am where we will be cleaning up Castle Park and the surrounding area.
It’s FREE to participate and there will be Tea and a Bun at 12pm in the Scout Hut for all volunteers. To take part or if you’d like to organise your own local Clean for the Queen on your patch, phone Sue Pike on 01579 346688 for rubbish bags, equipment and for organising rubbish collection afterwards.
