A traditional ceremony featuring a procession of Cornish bards followed by a meeting where new bards are admitted and competition prizes and major awards are presented.

It is performed, weather permitting, in the open, this year at Thanckes Park in Torpoint, and the public is encouraged to attend. The actual ceremony takes place at 2pm but there are events throughout the day.
