Cornish Spring Flower Show – Boconnoc Estate

This year will be the 103rd in the annual event’s history –  Cornwall’s answer to the Chelsea Flower Show…

Celebrated gardener, journalist and TV personality, Joe Swift, will open the two-day event

.Anne Swithinbank, a regular on Gardener’s Question Time, will attend the show on Sunday. During the day she will also give a masterclass and deliver a talk.

Judging the plants will be Jim Gardiner – the Royal Horticultural Society’s first ever Executive Vice President – together with Val Anderson, former Head Gardener of the National Trust’s Antony House and Gardens, Plymouth.

Judging the show gardens will be Jim Buttress, a leading garden expert and presenter of the BBC’s Allotment Challenge, together with CGS Trustee, Viscountess Alice Boyd. Bob Sweet, retired Head of Show for the RHS, will judge the trade stands.

Sunday show times 10am-4pm

Tickets cost £6 in advance- available from Liskeard Information Centre or £8 on the day.
