Creative Communities: Exhibition and Talk

Cornwall is home to many ‘powerhouses of culture’: communities in which songs, stories, history, music, dances, recipes, games and traditions proliferate through events and festivals. They usually find their roots in small groups of creative people who tirelessly and passionately make these creative events happen, year after year. We wanted to know more about this important relationship between community and culture. How does culture benefit communities and how do communities benefit culture?
