Creative Jam at the Liskerrett Centre

As part of Liskeard Unlocked Liskerrett is hosting a Creative Jam offering tasters in a wide variety of art forms to truly unwrap Liskeard’s creativity!

Saturday 16th September, 10am-4pm

There will be loads of FREE workshops throughout the day linked to the heritage of our town with something for all ages including:

• Printing – Print It! Expect a riot of colour! It could get messy! We’ll give you an apron and encourage you to unwrap your creativity with Nicky Harwood Artist. 10am-12 noon and 1pm-4pm
• Stitching sew with Stitch Up! 10am – 4pm.
• Photography – Snap It, Rock It! Discover the power of mobile photography in an engaging and practical workshop with Matt Thornhill. Capture stunning images using just your phone camera with expert guidance. Perfect for beginners and enthusiasts. 10.30am-11.30am and 1.30pm-2.30pm
• Jewellery Making with Heather Simmons 10am – 1pm.
• Spinning with Jackie Long – 10am – 12 noon. 1pm – 4pm.
• Dancing – Cornish Dancing taster with Scoots Kernow! This is your chance to try out a selection of popular Cornish ‘Nos Lowen’ social dances, 10.30am-11.30am
• Dancing – Belly Dancing taster with Farah Dance, 2pm-3pm
• Lets Dance with Lois Taylor 1pm – 1.45pm.
• Singing – Sing! You cannot fail to have your heart lifted by Cornwall Choir Collective – we all love it when they’re here on Wednesday mornings! Sample their offering 3pm-3.45pm
• Junk Instruments 1pm – 4pm.
• Writing – Word Up! Writing workshop with Jackie Taylor. Drop in and add your words: everyone welcome as we attempt to SMASH the record for longest community poem ever written in Liskeard! 10am-12 noon
• Collage with Carol Allen – 10am – 12 noon. 
• Story Telling with Bill Chubb – 10am – 11am.
• Wild Knitting with 3 Bags Full 10am – 4pm.
• Fast Paced Scamper with Cats Eye Morris – 11.30am – 12.15pm
