Ilow Splann (Cornish for Music Bright/Splendid/shining) consists of two multi-intrumentalists; Maggie Willmott on violin and recorders and Carlton Crouch on saxophone, recorders and guitar. The duo primarily play their arrangements of Cornish folk tunes.
Maggie Willmott plays in the Plymouth Symphony Orchestra and teaches music.
Carlton Crouch (a member of Stuart House) plays a variety of musical styles, is busy recording and recently played with six piece band ‘Kesson’, representing Cornwall at the ‘Festival Interceltique Lorient’.
