Liskeard Walkers are Welcome & Bodmin Moor Poetry Festival join forces for their first ‘Poetry Walk’.
Brian Oldham of WaW will lead a 3 mile circular from Sterts Theatre at Upton Cross. Taking in a river valley, abandoned mine buildings, grazing fields and a mineral railway. Brian will talk about certain locations and personalities of the industrial past, and BMPF will provide copies of complementary poems .
The walk will not be difficult, will take in some stunning views across Bodmin Moor, and will return to Sterts in time for a drink and lunch, and an opportunity to attend the afternoon events at the Poetry Festival.
