Dog Festival & Whippet Tea Party is Back!
Not long to wait now until the annual Port Eliot Dog Festival, featuring Roo’s Whippet Tea Party and Lark’s Jumble Sale, which is happening once again this year and will be supporting Children’s Hospice South West.The event will be taking place on Saturday 7th May from 11am to 4.30pm at the Port Eliot Estate and all the family are invited, four legged friends included!
The day will have something for everyone with stalls, refreshments and entertainment for the public as well as a family dog show and agility course and of course the highlight of the day – Roo’s Whippet Tea Party for our canine friends.
Roo and Lark, Port Eliot’s resident whippets host a tea party for all dogs to come along to. This is a unique experience both for the dogs, who get to enjoy an incredible dog-friendly spread, as well as for owners who stand back and watch the chaos unfold.
Last year over seven hundred people and hundreds of dogs came along to the day and over £4000 was raised for CHSW. With 2016 being the 25th Anniversary year for CHSW the organisers of the festival hope that the event is once again attended well and people are feeling generous.
