PSO Summer Concert

Plymouth Symphony Orchestra’s summer concert will be held at Liskeard Public Hall on Sunday 16th June at 5.30pm.

The season ends with a collection of grand and large scale orchestral works. From Wagner’s Tannhäuser Overture and Sibelius’s Finlandia to Beethoven’s triumphal Symphony No.5. The orchestra will also be joined by renowned soloist Elin Pritchard for the beautiful and profound Four Last Songs of Richard Strauss. These glorious serene and transcendent songs feature magnificent orchestral colour with radiant lyricism and served to be Strauss’s epitaph.
