Viking Day at Lanivet

August 20th at Lanivet Village Green Morvleydh will be holding a full day of early medieval fun and educational activities, Viking age combats, crafts and living history.
- 10.30 – Weapons Display
- 11.30 – Missiles Display
- 12.30 – Kiddie Vike
- 13.30 – Talk on the Hogback Grave reconstructions (meet on the green)
- 15.30 – Battle
This is a completely free to attend event but we will be rattling buckets for donations towards the repair of the church roof. The hogback grave at Lanivet is an extremely rare example of Scandinavian (Viking age) stonework in Cornwall and so the maintenance of the church that helps look after it is really important to us!
