Good Friday Concert - Liskeard Concert Series

Part of the Liskeard Concert Series. A concert for the evening of Good Friday including a performance of Stainer’s Crucifixion, spirituals from Tippet’s A Child of Our Time and much more, all under the inspired direction of Chris Howarth, who has recently been appointed Music Director of East Cornwall Bach Choir.

Those who attended the performance of Handel’s Messiah mounted by the same team and promoted by LCS two years ago will remember what an inspiring occasion it was in Liskeard’s beautiful church of St Martin’s. Chris will be bringing to Liskeard some of the West Country’s top soloists. This is definitely an event not to be missed!
