The Jungle Book

Chapterhouse Theatre presents The Jungle Book, an adaptation from Rudyard Kipling’s novel by Laura Turner. In the magical Indian jungle a new arrival changes the animal kingdom forever. Your favourite animal characters will be brought to life to create an enchanting and fun-filled musical show for children of all ages.

Join Mowgli on his wonderful adventures with the loveable and wise Baloo the Bear, the powerful panther Bagheera, and not to mention mischievous monkeys and the terrifying tiger Shere Khan! For this performance children are invited to dress up in their favourite animal costume and join in the Jungle Parade in the interval.

The details: Gardens open from 4pm. Performance starts at 6pm. Please bring low backed seating or a picnic rug. The performance will go ahead in all but the very worst weather, so do wear suitable clothing. or ring us on 01579 350044 to check.

Kernow Forno will be bringing their awesome outdoor wood-fired pizza oven for the evening, and with their wonderful toppings, included chocolate and banana there is sure to be something for everyone. The bar will be open for soft and alcoholic drinks as well as warming coffees, teas and hot chocolate. We kindly request that you refrain from bringing your own food and beverage on this occasion.
