Liskeard Unlocked – Heritage Open Days

Liskeard Unlocked is part of Heritage Open Days, England’s largest festival of history and culture and takes place every September. This year it is from September 11th – 13th September and due to Covid-19 restrictions it will take a different format.
Liskeard unlocks its doors and organises events to celebrate heritage, community and history. It’s your chance to see hidden places in our town without leaving home – and it’s all FREE.
Friday 11th September
5.00pm – Virtual/photographic tours of Penmilder garden, Pendean, 3 Varley Terrace, the signal box at Liskeard Railway Station and also a Driver’s Eye View of the Looe Valley line. These will go live at 5pm – check this link
7.30pm – Talk by Brian Oldham of Liskeard Old Cornwall Society via Zoom. Register with Liskeard Information Centre to get the access information.
Saturday 12th September
Walks with Brian Oldham of Liskeard Old Cornwall Society. Due to social distancing these are limited to 12 people per walk, book your FREE place with Liskeard Information Centre.
Booking Information – all events need to be booked through Liskeard Information Centre, this can be done in person, by phone (01579 349148) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Opening hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10am-4pm (closed 12.30-1pm for lunch) and Saturday 10am-1pm.
